Found In Obama’s Latest Guantanamo Prisoner Transfer Manifest – Bin Laden’s Drivers, Bodyguards And Possible 9/11 Conspirators

On Monday, 10 inmates at the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba were transferred to Oman by order of President Obama.  This is not the first time Oman has accepted prisoners transferred from the facility, though the majority of Guantanamo detainees are transferred to Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen.  Though the prisoners are initially transferred to prison facilities within the country accepting them, they are often quickly released by the accepting countries, and in some cases they are able to escape from custody and/or monitoring.  And though Oman is considered to be relatively stable compared to Yemen and Saudi Arabia, it is still a third world country on the Arabian peninsula, and is said to have been compromised by Al-Qaeda affiliates infiltrating the country by way of Yemen.

It is baffling that Obama thinks transferring these high-risk individuals to Muslim or third world countries is a good idea, especially considering the countries in question have prison facilities are far less safe, and are often compromised from within.  But what makes it even worse is when you take a closer look at the detainees that have been transferred out of US custody.

Suppressors – The First Battle In The New Push For Gun Rights

Donald Trump Jr. Firing Suppressed Rifle

The first push for gun rights in the upcoming Trump administration is already shaping up, and Trump hasn’t even taken office yet.

The Hearing Protection Act of 2017 (HPA) was introduced a week ago today, on Monday January 9th.  The bill is aimed at removing suppressors from regulation under the National Firearms Act (NFA), which requires an extremely difficult application process and a $200 “tax stamp” to “transfer” ownership from one individual to another.  The NRA sums up the truth on suppressors and the HPA below:

Ted Cruz’s Term Limits Constitutional Amendment Is Getting No Coverage

On Tuesday, January 3rd, Ted Cruz kept his word, and formally introduced a constitutional amendment in Congress that would impose term limits of three two-year terms for House representatives, and two six-year terms for Senators.  Several outlets covered it, mostly conservative ones, since the amendment was co-sponsored by another Republican, Ron DeSantis of Florida.  But since the announcement, its been crickets from the media on the issue.

It’s quite amazing, that an issue with as much popular support as Term Limits has received such little media coverage.  How is it that an issue like this isn’t being covered more frequently by major media?

The #GrabYourWallet Anti-Trump Boycott List Includes Pro-Hillary Retail Giants Amazon And Walmart

At times, the anti-Trump crowd truly is good for a laugh.  They hate Trump enough to create a boycott list containing companies that are allegedly pro-Trump and/or offer Trump-branded merchandise, for use as a guide on which companies to avoid when purchasing consumer goods.  But the boycott list the #GrabYourWallet group put together includes the country’s two largest retailers, who just so happen to have actively campaigned for Hillary Clinton and against Donald Trump.

Working under a .org website titled and marketed under the hashtag #GrabYourWallet, the group’s homepage contains a spreadsheet detailing retailers that should be boycotted, which Trump merchandise the particular retailers carry, the best contact points to reach the retailers in question, and what to say when contacting the retailers.

The website is as amusing as it is indicative of liberal hubris, as the whole charade is actually just another item in the long list of private enterprise collaborations with government that have turned into colossal failures.  Just take a look at a segment of #GrabYourWallet’s mission statement which describes its history:

ANALYSIS: GM Lied To The Public And To Trump About Where Chevrolet Cruze Sedans Sold In The USA Are Assembled

Originally Written for GotNews

On Tuesday, president-elect Trump tweeted about General Motors, stating the GM was building its Chevrolet Cruze in Mexico, importing them to the US tax-free, and selling them at US car dealers:

GM quickly denied Trump’s tweet, and in a press release that same day, the company claimed that all Cruze sedans sold in the US are “built in GM’s assembly plant in Lordstown, Ohio”, and that GM builds the Cruze hatchback for global markets in Mexico, with only a small percentage being sold in the US…

China’s Air Combat Strategy Is Designed To Attack Support Assets, Not American Fighter Jets

China’s J-20 Fighter Prototype

It may sound hard to believe, and it might not intuitively make sense, but China is indeed fielding a fleet of 5th generation and 4++ generation fighter jets whose primary purpose will not be to do battle with American fighter jets.

Why?  It’s quite simple.  China likely knows that they cannot build a jet that will outperform the top US air superiority fighter, the F-22.  So instead of going toe-to-toe with it in combat, they are instead choosing to target the aerial tankers, AWACS, drone, and other support aircraft that help make the F-22 so deadly.

60 Minutes Conveniently Leaves One Crucial Fact Out Of Its Report On Chicago Violence

On Sunday, CBS’s 60 Minutes aired a report on the surge of murders and violence in Chicago.  When describing the increase in violence as a “surge”, 60 Minutes is certainly not exaggerating; this year’s homicide total in Chicago is up by 56% from last year, and up almost 75% from 2013.

However, CBS is certainly exaggerating when it compares Chicago to a “war zone” – in Afghanistan, for example, US forces have averaged 300+ murders per 100,000 since the 2001 invasion.  With a 2016 homicide rate of ~29 per 100,000, Chicago’s homicide rate hasn’t reached the 1992 peak of ~32 per 100,000.  Can anyone recall CBS comparing Chicago to a “war zone” in the 1990s?

60 Minutes centered its coverage on a drop in stops and arrests by police, with a focus on blaming the police for creating a crime-filled environment, with scarce mention of the perpetrators behind the increase in violent crime.  They also mentioned low police morale, new policies on racial profiling and police reporting, gang members posting video of confrontations with police, and “fear of becoming the next viral video” in their piece.  What was conveniently left out of the entire report?

Watch Out For Dangerous Prescription Drugs

Note: Happy New Year from Free Market Shooter!  Today’s post is a repost of an article I wrote for Single Dude Travel with input from Recall Report, about dangerous prescription drugs.  Free Market Shooter is looking forward to 2017, and expect new content to be featured here on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule, though the news cycle and current events will force some flexibility in postings.  You can also subscribe to Free Market Shooter via email on the right sidebar, or follow me on Facebook/Twitter, as any new content will also be linked and shared there.

In addition, stay tuned to Single Dude Travel as well, for an upcoming article on what we all need to be aware of during a Trump Presidency: if the market brings the whole house of cards down on Trump’s watch, the globalists who opposed him will blame not only Trump and his voters for the collapse, they will also blame all who do not conform to their vision of total government control.  Make no mistake about it, they may have lost the battle, but their war is far from over.
